Food Processing
The Central Pennsylvania region provides fertile ground for the food processing industry. Additionally, our close proximity to the majority of the nation’s population and seaports makes Central PA a smart choice for food manufacturing. Other successful companies such as Kellogg’s, Wise Foods, Del Monte, Conagra, Furmano Foods and Weis Markets have found a dependable workforce and a supportive community. Central Pennsylvania has many sources of organic goods as well as support for sustainable practices.
